Ann Moat was born at Fishlake on 18 February 1805 and baptized there on 17 March 1805. She was the daughter of William Moat, a tailor at Fishlake, and Mary (nee Batty).

According to The Threadgould Families book, “In 1855 George Threadgould and family moved to Taylor Lownship in Wayne County, Michigan, about 15 miles south west of the centre of Detroit. DEATH
Ann Moat (Threadgould) died 19 June 1873 of paralysis in Michigan.
According to The Threadgould Families book pages 48-49, “George and Ann Threadgould lived at Taylor for the remainder of their lives. George died of a heart attack on 22 August 1865, aged 71 years. Ann died of a “stroke” on 19 June 1873. Both are buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Detroit, in the family plot purchased by their daughter Hannah and her husband, John Crebbin.”
