Eleanor Wakeling 18 Lucifer ____ Maker b Strode, Kent, England
Unable to figure out middle word for occupation for Charlotte and Eleanor. Lucifer indicates that it probably has something to do with the Lucifer match making industry. It is very possible that brother William’s scale board cutter occupation might also be in the same industry, as in the 1861 census he is listed as Match Box Maker.
